Hi everyone! My name is Eleni Vetsopoulos
and I am one of the Acro instructors at CoPA. Although I
have only been blessed with teaching at CoPA for a short
time, I love every minute of it! The kids are my life and
teaching has always been my passion.
I also coach competitive cheerleading at CheerZone Allstars
and have been doing that for almost 6 years now. Helping
children and young adults grow as athletes and realize their
potential has been my passion since I was only 15. I began
my coaching career as a recreational gymnastics coach at
Kidsport Gymnastics Academy, and it was there that I
developed my teaching style.I love to create a fun
environment for the kids so that they are not only learning
to explore their abilities but to also having fun doing so.
Since the age of 2, I have been doing gymnastics, dance and
cheerleading. I was a gymnast for 10 years, a dancer for 13
years (my passion was modern dance), and a competitive
cheerleader for 13 years. I take pride in having experience
from a wide range of activities which all would not even
exist without components of dance and acrobatics. Without
dance, I wouldn't be me!!
I currently attend the University of North Carolina at
Greensboro and I graduate in December 2010. I will be
receiving a BA in Psychology and will hopefully continue to
Grad School to receive my Masters in Counseling/Psychology.
From there I hope to work with children of all ages and
backgrounds. In May 2011, I am getting married and hope to
soon have children of my own to attend CoPA and experience
the family environment there that I have experienced myself
in this short time! CoPA ROCKS!! :) |
