COPA staff and COPA families are "Wild About Dance"!  On Mother's Day weekend, we debut our awesome COPA talent at Williams High School with the theme of "Wild about Dance".  The schedule will come out in the next few months for the recitals.  Make your recital at COPA complete this May by buying an ad for the recital program book. This is a great way to acknowledge the dancer in your life for all their hard work. It's also a great way to advertise for your business and reach a target demographic. Remember, we have over 500 students and many families whom see this ad information.  We have different sizes available.  There are forms at the studio or on the website under forms.

COPA recitals are May 11 and 12, and the rehearsals are May 7-10 at Williams High School.

Recital theme t- shirt is due March 25, and the order forms will be out for those at the beginning of February.  We will have samples in the lobby!

Remember that the recital fee of 35.00 was due back in the fall for May 2012, and with your fee you get one program book.  If you have others coming and they will need a program (there will be limited amount sold at the door) or want to give to someone as a gift, please also order more programs before hand by going to the same form mentioned above.  If you do not get a program for your loved ones, they will not have the order of the recital.  It is a great keepsake!

Lastly, please also remember to support our ballet workshop that will be coming at the Paramount in February.  You can buy tickets at the COPA office and there will be limited ones sold at the door.  Tickets are $5.00.  There will be someone in the lobby at COPA next week selling tickets as well.

We are loving being a part of your lives and thank-you for allowing us to teach your child!

COPA Has New Owners!

Joanna Warren

Michelle Sharpe

Meredith Thornton

The new owners are Joanna Warren, Michelle Sharpe, and Meredith Thornton! All three are familiar faces around the studio as they grew up at COPA, and are current teachers!  In addition, all three have children currently enrolled in COPA classes!

After 30 plus years, Millicent Linens and Jo Brantley have handed over the reigns! Millicent will continue to teach and be a role model at COPA, and Jo will continue as business manager.

Joanna, Michelle, and Meredith are excited to continue and build upon the heritage of the Centre of Performing Arts that has been a hallmark of quality dance education since our doors first opened as the Eloise Glass Dance Studio in the early 1950s.

You will immediately see some exciting changes around the dance studio! The new paint and logo are just the beginning. Joanna, Michelle, and Meredith are looking forward to this new opportunity to grow and expand COPA!
