CENTRE STARS - DANCE TEAM

Students at the Centre have several opportunities to perform in competition groups.

• The Centre Stars Dance Company - Tiny Team, Mini Team, Team 1, Team 2, Team 3, and Team 4

Although competition dance requires a strong commitment and is certainly not for everyone, we are happy to provide the opportunity for those who wish to pursue dance on this level. Our approach to competitions is that they should provide a positive experience for students, giving them an occasion to perform and be critiqued; to learn from both that assessment and watching others. Also, to enjoy themselves and use the opportunity to get to know classmates, families and other dancers, while developing relationships and have experiences that make “dance” a very special part of their lives.

TEAM WEAR/Warm Ups

COPA will order Team Wear, including shirts, and Warm Up Jackets as needed. They are required for team members for Parades and Award Ceremonies at competition. They will also be worn during Convention weekends. Those will be ordered in July before the fall season begins.
